Hi , with the new syllabus coming , can we still use P1 notes for Jun 2014 for Dec?
Which are the removable topics ? Which can get the new topics ?
Thanks
August 9, 2014 at 9:46 am #188846Yes, the notes are still fine. Very little is removable and integrated reporting is a new inclusion along with a couple of other topics.
If you follow this link it will give you the details
hope that helps
August 10, 2014 at 3:15 am #189069Thank you , Mike. May I know do I need to get study text and revision kit for dec 2014? I currently hold jun 2014 rev kit. Will you be downloading new syllabus written notes in your website for us ?
Thanks .
August 10, 2014 at 6:10 am #189082No, no need for a new revision kit. The June 2014 should be ok. Just make sure that you read a lot about integrated reporting – there is a chapter in the revised course notes.
If the revised updated notes are not yet uploaded, they will be soon
September 3, 2014 at 12:23 pm #193470hy all. i already passed f1 to f9 in dec 2012. i sat for p1 in june 2013 but got only 40. can i use the same notes to prepare myself for the june 2015 p1 exam? tx in advance.
September 3, 2014 at 6:55 pm #193540Hi Hassan
The updated course notes are on site – not a lot has changed except in line with syllabus changes.
You should be fine with those except you need to make sure that you read a lot about integrated reporting
Do you mean June 2015 or are you aiming for December 2014?

Hello, I have a 2011 p1 text book. Can i still use this to study for the December 2014 exam along with the syllabus changes for Dec 2014.. or has other areas changed since 2011?
Thanks.
September 21, 2014 at 9:21 am #195756Am I really replying to a user named “Babybumbum”!!! I just hope the other tutors and admin don’t see this – I shall never live it down!
Yes, baby, you should be ok with 2011 together with updated course notes, revision kit (or downloaded past exams from ACCA) and make sure you’re on top of the syllabus changes, particularly integrated reporting
