Hi!
Can somebody tell me the accounting treatment of transaction/legal cost of leases?At the moment, lease costs are expensed as incurred.
The Exposure Draft proposes capitalising these costs as identified in paragraphs B10 and B11, pages 40 and 41 of the Exposure Draft.
Put into your “search” box “ED2013/6” and read what follows. It is examinable (it came up 2 (?) exams ago). It’s not likely to be a standard within the next two years
