Respected Sir,
i appeard in f5 in june 2014 for the third time and waiting for the result? still in this attempt im not satisfied with my performance in f5.what should i do? i mean whats the basic technique to study f5? i covered all the topics but when i appeared in the exam i was unable to understand the transfer pricing question even i did each exam question of the transfer pricing 3 times.i want full advice in detail how to study the f5 ?//????
i also want to know that according to the new exam structure there will be 20 MCQs of 2 mark each( total 40 marks MCQs). is there any comments or short explanations we will have to do or just we will choose the correct one..? having 40 marks MCQs in exam would be easy or not to pass the f5 as compared to the old exam structure? waiting for your reply Sir.
Thanks…July 5, 2014 at 4:49 pm #178209The only way to study is to go through the notes and lectures thoroughly – repeating if you have the slightest doubt as to whether you really understand. But then to practice as many questions as possible. That is the only way to be sure that you understand – to practice questions properly without looking at the answer until you have finished. Particularly important are the written parts of the questions – 50% of the exam will be written as opposed to calculations.
Study the examiners marking schemes and see where marks are given – remember you are aiming for 50% on every part of every question. With regard to the June exam – have you looked at my answers on this website.
With regard to the new format, the MCQs do not require comments. There is no reason why it should be easier are harder than the old format.
