Apologies is this has already been brought up elsewhere. It’s my understanding exam sittings shall now take place every 3 months from December onwards. Is there any information available regarding the results release dates in this new format?

I plan to utilise this new format in order to concentrate on one subject at a time, but it would obviously be useful if results were out relatively quickly in order to make a decision on which exam to take next.

the new format is welcome but results should be out in the shortest possible period.

Although the format (layout) of the F level exams is changing for December, the timing of the exams is staying at 2 sittings a year for the time being.

The ACCA is planning to have 4 sittings a year at some time in the future, but they have not yet announced a definite start date. It will certainly not be before the end of 2015.

If you look at the main ACCA F4 page on this forum then you will see there is a link to changes in the exam for December 2014. There are summaries for every paper on the relevant pages.

(Alternatively, you could of course look at the ACCA website! 🙂 )

One would expect that with the move to multiple choice-heavy exams that results could be released sooner anyway, even without the move to 4 exam sittings per year. However I wouldn’t count on the ACCA to release some results earlier than others so I’d expect it will stick to being two months after the exam sittings until there is another update.
