Hi, there 🙂
While reading the big 50 mark questions from my Kaplan exam kit I realised that the best thing to do is to write the key words that summarise most relevant information about the business case given in the question. In the same time I am structuring my answers and relevant arguments that I will use in answer.
However, this takes me a lot of time because of the length and the complexity of the 50 mark question.
I was wondering how much time (besides 15 minutes of reading that we get for the whole exam at the beginning) should I spend on drawing my answer plan? For example, if we assume that 50 mark question should be written in a 1 hour and half, is it too much to spend 30 minutes planning the anwer and only 45 minutes actually writing the answer on paper?
What do you think how much time should be spent on planning the answer and should I do that in the first instance?
Thanks!

June 3, 2014 at 6:09 pm #173347im am having same problem :/ my thought is i have 30-40 min reading and structure my answer (including 15min) that will leave me with approximately 1 hour writing time however this should be easier structured. that i got .833 min per mark so for a 15 mark question i have roughly 13 min as i am finding it hard with time management (my aim is half the marks so this should do) good luck
