    Good Morning,
I have been spending a lot of time practising F3 15mark questions, preparing a set of finanacial statament (SOFP, SOPL). I have been careful to time myself. However it is difficult to draw up the format, complete the statements, do the necessary calculations, get them right, and do neat workings in pen, within 15minutes, which is the time I am allowing for these questions. There is no time to double check things, or make mistakes. I also watched your video on reviewing peoples exams and answers and how these can be untidy. I just seem to think it is difficult to get the full 15 marks here.Do you have any advise regarding this?
    Thank you John.

The important thing is not so much to be neat and ‘pretty’ but to show your figures and workings in a way that the marker can find them and read them.

It need not take much longer – just spread out your work (the paper is free in the exam) and make sure what you write is readable.
