Hello Mike, i need some guidance here.
I’ve read all the tips published by OT together with the well known colleges for ACCA. However, some current issues spotted by them are not even in the examinable document, for example Intergrated Reporting.

Some are even repetitive of current issue which are already been tested. For example IFRS for SME.

So how do we know whether it is a current issue or not?

Now there’s a good question! I can tell you what the examiner considers to be a current issue sometime on Tuesday evening June 10th!

Read as much as you can stomach of IASplus. And SA relevant articles. Often an introductory few pages within the reputable tutor establishments exam kit / revision kit

Nizarsalleh, if I could help with some magical insight, I surely would.

But I can’t and for that, I am truly sorry

Can a current issue be examinable twice? For example Leases has comeout before (lease and saleback), can it come out again, however with a different issure, for example if i was not mistaken, there will be no more classification of finance lease and operating lease?

Yes, of course a topic can be asked twice in consecutive exams.

It would be quite a novel idea for the P2 examiner to do that, but it is certainly possible (probably remote)

He could bring a lease element into any one of the other questions, but I think it’s unlikely to be the basis of question 4
