Dear P2 tutor,
Please let me know about the following queries-
* Is it worthwhile to ans Group statements at the very begining?
* If I by mistake skip a part of a question (for example, question 1c) and later find that I have missed that then can I ans it at the end of my exam-if I do not leave any space between 1b and 2a.
* If I do statements accordingly but miscalculate somewhere will I be penaltized? Or what if I do not know one adjustment?
Please let me know.
-Thank you.May 20, 2014 at 7:10 pm #169710To do question 1 first is entirely a matter of choice. Whether you do it first in the middle or last is entirely up to you and what you feel comfortable with. If part b) and / or c) of question 1 is not dependent upon you arriving at an answer to part a), do parts b) and c) FIRST – before you start the numbers. And stop answering question 1 after 90 minutes of “real” exam time
Every page will be assessed by the marker. Of course, it’s more difficult when you have strewn your answer throughout your answer booklet and the marker will not be a happy bunny. But the marker will still make sure that your complete attempt in the exam is given credit where it’s due
If (when?!) you make an error, it should only be penalised once
If there’s an adjustment that you simply have no idea about how to adjust, move on! Leave it

I have one more question.
Where should I study ‘Current Issues’ from? I’ve gone through Text and Articles but should I also read from IAS websites?May 22, 2014 at 4:09 pm #170145The website http://www.iasplus would be a reasonable place to start
It’s heavy going but it’s full of good stuff
