I already submitted my project, but now wonder if I have submitted all files successfully!!!!
I saw from other posts, that people say u could correct the errors before 21 May deadline ? How could u do it?
When I go back to the OBU web, they have already closed the submit line as I already submitted…..
Could anyone please tell me how to check everything again after u submitted the project?
Thank u!
May 6, 2014 at 5:16 am #167584Dear Rita, You will receive an e-mail about what files you submitted. If you dont receive an e-mail immediately contact OB that you have not received acknowledgement e-mail. They will sure reply you and send you acknowledgement e-mail. Make sure that all files are submitted successfully.
@trephena how about gathering all submission problems under one head, including what files to submit under what format, how to make sure that all files have uploaded successfully.May 6, 2014 at 7:44 am #167595Good idea – will do!
The Submission confirmation is critical as you point out @bassaniobroke for showing actual files loaded. It MUST be checked well before the deadline – so if you didn’t get one you need to contact them NOW @Rita
I don’t think you can actually go into the files to read them once you have confirmed the upload though. If @Rita was referring to my post about correcting the submission this was meant in the specific context of a file omission error (In that specific case although 5 files were uploaded the student didn’t check the file names until after the deadline and found they had loaded the SLS twice and no report. They contacted OBU but as the deadline had passed they were not allowed to resubmit the correct file)
Access I suppose depends what system is in place – if as it sounds the submitted files once loaded and the confirmation button has been clicked, probably pass into the next stage of the process and could only be recalled ‘manually’ in exceptional circumstances by someone within OBU (probably the overworked chief administrator!) . Proof of error in the form of the confirmation statement would I imagine, be required before OBU would agree any manual recall as it would certainly involve cancelling the submission either in whole or part (and I don’t for a moment think OBU would do it except in extreme circumstances such as the case above – had the student notified them in time – as the submission process would descend into chaos!)
Perhaps some university systems put all files in a temporary repository allowing access to files and changes to be made until a certain date when the whole repository is moved to the next stage, but not it seems at OBU from @Rita’ s comments.
