Read the course notes. Listen to the lectures that apply to your variant (the lectures are for the English law variant but are approximately 50% to 60% relevant for global – start with partnership followed by company law lectures)

Read the notes again and again and again (just READ! – Do not try to LEARN)

Then open the revision kit and read questions followed each time by the answers. Then do them again, but this time spend 5 minutes reading the question and PLANNING in bullet form trying to get ten different correct relevant points that you think you could work into an answer.

Check your bullet points against the printed solution.

Read the course notes again for those topics where you were “way off” target or simply could not think of enough points to make.

DO NOT become disheartened by the sheer length nor depth of the printed solutions – neither you nor anyone else is going to achieve answers of that length in the 18 minutes time allocation for a ten mark question

Then read the course notes again and listen to the lectures again, and again and again – basically until you are sick of the sight of them or cannot bear the thought of having to listen to my lectures again

The key is constant and frequent repetition. The more often you can persuade yourself to get through those notes, the greater are your chances of success. But remember what I said earlier in this post – DO NOT try to remember the contents of the notes – just read them.

You should be able to get through the entire course notes in around two to three hours.

I cannot help with F9 – you’ll need to ask the F9 tutor
