    Dear Mr mike little,
I just received an email from ACCA saying that I am eligible to take P1 and I have not done F7,8&9. I don’t know what to make of it.I passed F5&6 and studying for F7&8now. Please advice me if it means I got exemption of these papers. Thank you

No, no exemptions for you, sorry.

I’ve just checked out the ACCA website which says, essentially, that if you are taking exams across modules (the example they give is if you are taking F3 and a later F) then the later F should be F4 – the words they use are that you should take them in sequence.

Now I’m not totally clear that this is the correct interpretation of that “rule” but, if I am correct, then with three Fs to go, the only P you can enter for is the next in sequence which would be P1.

That’s the only way I can make sense of their email to you saying that you are eligible to attempt (specifically) P1

I am seeking a second opinion on my interpretation so I could be incorrect!
