hi, wanted to know how to know the examiners name because some people say that when there is a change in the examiner for assesment of the papers it is said that the trend of the papers n way of marking also alters.. wanted to confirm about this..
thanksFebruary 16, 2014 at 4:10 pm #158995Examiner’s names are not now publicised. When the F7 examiner retires (and there seems to be no sign of that in the foreseeable future) no doubt the ACCA will let it be known.
Additionally, it is not always wise to believe the unsubstantiated rumours attributable to “some people”
And finally, what difference is it possibly going to make to you or anyone else? If the ACCA change an examiner, or propose to change an examiner, is that going to alter your strategy as to the timing of when you will attempt the exam?
And how will you be able to predict the marking strategy / approach of the new examiner – it could so easily be more strict than the existing, or more lenient, or even just the same.
My advice is: just get on with it and don’t worry about the identity of any of the current nor future examiners
🙂
