All of you guys who have failed this time, this is for you people. Ive been reading comments on this page of ours, and others, people are understandably heartbroken and demotivated. So this is for all of you. Especially those of you who are facing a first fail, and those who are finalists and couldnt make affiliate. Im not really anyone, but here goes…
Look now, this is NOT the end of the world. We all have heard that story about the ant that climbs a cave wall, then falls down, then climbs again, then falls down again, it keeps on trying until it gets there. If you take this hard, and make it your life, you’ll sacrifice your main aim. Do NOT give up.
These exams are hard, very hard, yes. Maybe you have failed an exam three times. Its time to come back stronger. Pick yourself up, challenge yourself. You can do it yar, these puny exams arent much better than the brain that The Creator has given you. So, forget about the past, whats done is done. The ACCA exam had its turn now its YOURS. Lock and load, and fight back.
I do hope this wasnt very lame. I want you guys to take whats yours. So, keep your head high, Good luck this time around and may The Creator be with you all!
I do urge other members who have passed their exams, to positively encourage the people who havent.
Thanks.
February 10, 2014 at 6:50 pm #157827Thank you for your kind, encouraging words. I failed my first ACCA F4 exam in December & was feeling rubbish until i saw this. Thank you! 🙂
February 12, 2014 at 9:53 am #158369Such a heart-warming post, that. Kudos to Khalid for posting this. I second his thoughts and hope that the next time is YOUR time to pass, and pass with good marks against your name. Just try to stay optimistic, always (easier said, ofcourse) but one must keep finding ways to stay encourage even if people say things that indicate otherwise. As long as you are willing to spot your weaknesses and forgot the rest of what happened in the past, the future will surely bring the best in you.
Best of luck everyone.

Very moving and encouraging line. Thanks.
February 12, 2014 at 11:33 am #158381You’re absolutely right, I failed my F6 twice and in the third attempt i scored 66 which is highest in my written Fundamentals 😀
February 12, 2014 at 12:47 pm #158396I really wish people would leave religion off of this site though. It’s not necessary or professional.
February 12, 2014 at 2:30 pm #158425Very difficult to do for those of us that are relgious people. It’s comforting to know that as well as earthly matters there is a higher entity looking out for us. Politics, yes keep them out of it. But dont deprive us of our religiouus beliefs
February 12, 2014 at 3:41 pm #158444I’m not depriving anyone of anything but you guys wouldn’t like me professing my atheism so I don’t think people should be referring to God or ‘The Creator’ when their audience may well have no belief in such a being.
If God wanted everyone to be accountants, it wouldn’t be worth doing. You only get things in this life by doing it yourself. No one else will do it for you.
February 12, 2014 at 4:03 pm #158449I kinda agree with that notion (Richard’s), implying NO offense to anyone, and I feel we must purely focus on encouraging and motivating people as best as we can. While I agree with what gingergirl and what some of the others believe, I still feel it would be rather unfair if we discuss religion on an accounting forum.
With that said, I’d request everyone to simply discuss the idea introduced by the OP rather than discussing religion any further.
Thanks, and best of luck everyone.
February 12, 2014 at 8:04 pm #158480Nice to see that my post is actually helping people 🙂
@ Richard, Making this a religious post was certainly not my intention. I do request everyone to please take the essence of the post, and not point out small things.
Regards.

for those who passed P6 uk variant kindly recommend the best text book and other best materials to use am desperate
February 13, 2014 at 5:46 pm #158617^ hi there. I self-studied the UK variant of P6. Passed it along with P4 and P2, all first attempts.
What I did was, I read the Emile Woolf text book. Found its language to be very precise and simple. The text is to-the-point, no unnecessary details.
I then practiced a few full exam papers.
Goodluck!
