Hi I am thinking of taking p2 and p4 in June sitting just wanted to check if there is any link between two, and is it possible to pass through OT notes n Bpp revision kit. Thanks.
February 10, 2014 at 6:23 pm #157817I can’t speak for P4 but I understand it’s a wordy paper with not many numbers (I could be wrong there) whereas ….well, you see, that’s a major misconception. Yes, there are numbers in P2 but only really in part (a) of question 1 and then for only 35 marks. The rest is knowledge and application of IFRS to various scenaria together with a 25 marker (optional so can be avoided) on a current issue
Is there a link – check out last December’s exams and see if you can see any interrelationship
I was tempted to respond to your question “Is there any link between P2 and P4?” with an ironic “You mean apart from P3?” but then I fought against it!

February 11, 2014 at 4:03 pm #158151Just to confirm.
I want to take P4 and P2 in June session, not taking P3, but as I understood I have to enter as well for P3 (just registering even if not really taking exam)?
Second question. Can I register for every exam in different exam centres in different countries (during exam session I have to travel to England and I live in Poland, so P4 in Poland, P2 in England).February 11, 2014 at 4:19 pm #158156Hi
In answer to your first question, yes, to do P4 you must have completed P1, P2 and P3 or at least you must be entered for (in your case) P3 even though you may choose not to attend.
I have never heard of anyone taking exams in different centres during a single session – I’m not sure that the ACCA entry system can cope with that. It sounds to me like a question for ACCA themselves or, from Poland, maybe better to contact ACCA CEE office in Ukraine
