I personally think that if the ACCA is going to implement the new exam format with effect from June, it will be unfair to those who will be repeating. in my opinion they should implement it maybe after one year. unfortunately my opinion doesnt count
January 23, 2014 at 10:09 am #154355There will be always students who are going to be affected by a change,, if not next month then 6 months from now..
you should do everything you can to pass! so, the change will be irrelevant to you!January 23, 2014 at 10:23 am #154357But the syllabus is not changing. If you look at the specimen paper, then it is not really any more difficult than the old format.
(There is always the same problem when there actually are syllabus changes, but the ACCA cannot keep the syllabuses the same for ever because of people who will be repeating.)January 23, 2014 at 11:18 am #154358it’s true but if i were to repeat a course in June and i know if i fail again the exam format in december will be different, it will make me to work harder because i already know what is ahead of me.people should be given time to adjust for a change. it’s similar to implementing a change abroadly rather than gradually. people should be given time to adjust for a change
