Hi,
I’ve passed F1-F6, and sat F7 & F9 this Dec.
I’m trying to get a training contract but it’s tough cos I have no relevant work experience.
I just started a short course in Sage 50 to boost my CV and now I’m thinking I should do IAB level 2, maybe even 3 to get a bookkeeping job to start with. But I’m not sure if that’s a step backwards if I’m trying to be an accountant.
Does anyone have experience with IAB or going from bookkeeper to accountant? Is this a good idea?
How else could I get my first trainee accountant job?
