I used to work as an IT auditor/consultant in one of the big 4 and just made a career change in May 2012 by moving into the Financial Audit department of a mid tier firm (amongst the top 10). I have worked as an IT auditor/consultant for exactly 6 years and 5 months. Actually I am more interested in Financial advisory role and moved into financial audit because at that time it was the only opportunity available for me. To date I have spent 18 months in the Financial audit department, currently working as a semi senior. Just wanted to inquire that if I want to apply (specially while applying abroad) for any financial advisory roles at the moment then should I go for Graduate positions or experienced positions? I am already 32, I have a bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering and have passed the CISA exam too.
and yes to date i have passed 10 out of the 14 exams
