hello everyone, i know it’s too early but i wanted to know whether it would be a good idea to sit for F7 and P2 exam in one sitting ?
December 5, 2013 at 7:28 am #150454I had the same thought during this exam session, and infact registered for both the exams in December 2013 sitting. The idea was, if I can learn P2 well enough, then F7 should not be a worry.
The trouble I faced though is deciding which one to focus on first, F7 to get the basics right or P2 during the preparation stage. So I started off with P2, but soon realised, unless I know the F7 material well, P2 is not going to work. Group accounts for example is a case in point.. It is there in both the levels but in P2, it builds on your knowledge of F7.
So my suggestion is, spend a month or so familiarizing youreself with F7 content. If you find it easy to digest, then may be you can plan for P2 also. Else don’t bother.
