Can Performance Pyramid be applied to not for profit organisations? If it does what are the major differences in comparison with applying it to a profit seeking organisation?
    thank you!

It can be, with a bit of tweaking.

Think of a state financed hospital. All the items on Levels 3 and 4 are still directly relevant (customer satisfaction = patient satisfaction, waste, flexibility etc).

Financial is relevant because the hospital will have to live within its means.

Market is the one that’s a bit different because a state hospital has a bit of a monopoly. However, the hospital has to deliver what the population wants and this wish can be expressed through political changes.

Thank you! In case of this subject it will be useful to draw the pyramid (as in the answer of past exam answer) or just use words to explain it?

I think it’s quite difficult to explain it without a diagram. A diagram will save you time in the long-run.
