    Dear Sir,
Suppose, You have been referred with such requests for many times. I have tried to find posts similiar to my request. But I have problem with my scientfic Calculator Kenko KK-107A.
    I ask Your support.
I am revising the task Henry ComPany from Kaplan Publishing.
Henry Company expects that the first kitchen will take 24 man-hours to fit, but thereafter the time will be subject to a 95% learning rate. B is calculated as -0.074. The formula y=ax^b: y=24*199^-0.074. Though the B is given in the task, but I wish to calculate it myself, as exam task may not conclude the B provided. And I could not calculate the formula on my calculator. Kindly ask You, to advise which bottomsand steps I need to calculate B(-0.074) and the formula (y=24*199^-0.074) ON MY CALCULATOR.
    Grateful in advance. Best regards.
    Lilit

Hi Lilit I guess and hope that examiner will provide us with already calculated b, if there is not y^x button on your calculator I think there is no other way to calculate it

    Good luck
    Hasmik

I am sorry, but I do not have that calculator so it is difficult for me to tell you how to do it.

That calculator does certainly have a log button and also a y^x button on it – I can only suggest that you look at the manual.
(or post on the general forum and hope that someone has the same calculator as you)
