Dear tutor,
There may be questions within one exercise which do not state precisely that we should base our answer on the scenario.
For example, we are given the 25-marks exercise about corporate failure. The scenario describes the circumstances under which the company in question is at risk of failure. The first requirement which is worth, let`s say, 6 marks is to discuss the causes of corporate failure.
In this particular part of the exercise (I don`t mean the whole exercise) – should we apply our answer to the scenario or just state the possible reasons of corporate failure in such circumstances?
From what you say, the first part of the answer is meant to be quite general. The second part would then, typically, begin to discuss the scenario information and implications.
