P-05 pilot paper question -01 requires a statement of comparison between budgeted and actual financial results ofWebmaster.
But to my surprise, the capacity of the operations that the hospital can conduct in numbers not given in the question??
Was that a trick, as there is methods available to derive this figure?? (I do not think so but??) Am I wrong in this??
Please help
November 11, 2013 at 4:17 pm #145414The last line of the question, just before the requirements states that: “Each hospital is comprised of 15 wards, each of which can accommodate eight patients. The average patientstay in both hospitals was three days. Each hospital is open for 365 days per annum.”
This produces 14,600 patients (15 x 8 x 365/3)
The budgeted figures are based on this level of activity.
Really sneaky for such vital information to be put there. That examiner is no longer the examiner 🙂
