I have a problem on the question 56 in the revision kit
on working no.2,
we know that
Y=ax^b
where Y is the cumulative average time per unit to produce x units
x is the cumulative number of units
a is the time taken for the first unit of output
etc.
a equals to $30 had been worked out in working 1, I have no problem there.
the problem is on how they got x. I think x should be 30,000, but they said that x is equal to 3 . so, I beg your help at finding how they got 3 instead of 30,000.October 25, 2013 at 5:02 pm #143690Sorry, but you are going to have to say the name of the question and also which revision kit you are using 🙂

I am using f5 performance management, for exams up to june 2014 but I am preparing for December 2013 exam.

Thank youOctober 28, 2013 at 6:46 pm #143981Sorry – I meant which company produced the revision kit. Is it Kaplan or BPP?
I am now away from home until Thursday and so I do not have the revision kits with me, but if you let me know which revision kit it is then I will answer you on Thursday when I get home. (If I forget then please do remind me 🙂 )

I am using BPP.October 31, 2013 at 7:45 am #144185Hi, this is just to remind you to help me about the question on learning curve above.
October 31, 2013 at 3:24 pm #144218Sorry for the delay! I am home now 🙂
$30 is the cost per batch and the batches are of 10,000 units each.
So….for 30,000 units it means there are 3 batches.
