Hi – can you please be more specific – I try to keep the notes up to date so would appreciate if you could indicate exactly the name / title of the syllabus changes to which you refer

    SUMMARY OF CHANGES TO P7

    ACCA periodically reviews its qualification
syllabuses so that they fully meet the needs of
    stakeholders such as employers, students,
regulatory and advisory bodies and learning
    providers.

The main areas to be added to the syllabus are
    shown in Table 1 below:

    Table 1 – Additions to P7

Section and subject area Syllabus content
D1(i)h) Planning, materiality and assessing the risk of
    material misstatement
    Additional information
D1(i)i) Matters not relevant to planning

The main areas that have been clarified in the syllabus
(all were implicitly included previously) are shown in
    Table 2 below:

    Table 2 – Amendments to P7

Section and subject area Syllabus content
B1e) Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants Professional scepticism
    B1f) Evaluation of professional scepticism

-it was stated like this in the study guide.
thank you for answering my question.

Hmmm – it’s a pity that you are not able to attend courses. The course notes are literally that – course notes. All the matters that you mention are covered on courses. The notes cannot be expected to replace a study text – otherwise they would be as think and as comprehensive as the 552 pages of the Kaplan study text.

All those topics that you mention are covered on our courses but are not yet available on audio for OT. They no doubt will be in the future – but it’s not going to happen for this session

    Hi

How about you go to the ACCA website, click on the P7 option, click on “Examinable documents” and there you will find a list of examinable documents. Here’s a hint – “examinable documents” on the P7 page refers you to look at the P2 examinable documents

If you still face a problem, let me know

It isn’t in the course notes so that’s why you didn’t find it. The course notes are not a substitute for a study text. If you want something on forensic auditing, forensic accounting, forensic investigations check out the examiner’s own answer fro a recent past exam as well as an apposite article from a recent Student Accountant
