Please vote and discuss which ACCA approved study text for Paper F9 you have used or would recommend?

    Hi fellows..

It´s my first exam with ACCA and I´m wondering if it is sufficient to go through the Open Tuition Lecture Notes incl. Videos or do I need some back up documents like the papers you mentioned.

I´ve already finished my BSc and MSc studies and wanna focus more on international accounting now, so I should have a bit of background knowledge already ;).

    Thx
    BR,
    Mike

Mike – you need to practice as many past questions as possible, so you need to buy BPP or Kaplan Revision Kit

I’ve seen BPP and Kaplan, and I would pick Kaplan for F9. I loved LSBF for F5 but didnt get exposed to F9 LSBF but I suppose it could still work for F9 if you saw it.

Kaplan : If you need to just brush up your previous knowledge and go faster

BPP : If you are a beginner

    @scarydude2

    Hi,
you can check syllabus from here: https://www.accaglobal.com/en/student/acca-qual-student-journey/qual-resource/acca-qualification/f9/syllabus-study-guide.html
It has some additions and deletions, but I think they are not huge.

I used BPP, but it’s impossible to recommend this one in preference to another, as I didn’t see any other text books.

BPP is very detailed which helps when extra reading is needed for any topic clarification.
Kaplan text is very compact. It’s more like class notes rather than text but I think it’s enough to prepare for the exam.

All in all it comes down to practice questions, and Revision KIT which BPP has very good!

So definitely Open Tuition F9 😉 and BPP revision KIT.

I think BPP text books are in very detailed for both self-study and with lecturers. It is easy to understand and has many examples in case you are not clear about the topic.
