Hey you people!
Is it just me or do you guys also find the F7 paper difficult? I have passed 6 papers so far, seriously, non of them was “difficult”, I am not saying that I found them easy, all ACCA papers are challenging but I really found them fine, my only problem was the time pressure because of my work etc.. but other than that, I had no problem with understanding the concepts etc.., But with F7, I feel it is difficult, different than all the other papers, I am even studying F8 and F9 at the moment and I find them relatively easy as compared to F7! Why is that! I am afraid of failing from now even though I haven’t started practicing lots of questions yet and I know that question practice is what really makes a difference so I should not be judging from now, but I am freaking out from now already..!
Does anyone have a useful advise with regards F7? The people who passed it, did you do something special, please share your experiences!
Thanks, Maha
September 20, 2013 at 10:41 am #140903Hi, @Mahoysam
I’ve passed F7 with good rate just after three CBE exams F1-F3. It was first “serious” paper for me.
When I started to study this paper, paper seemed difficult for me also. I’ve read theory (study text), and practiced theory with questions from revision kit. But when I started to practice past exam papers, it looked horrible for me 🙂 One question contained a lot of different areas of study text. But after some practice, solving previous papers became easier.
And now I look at F7 paper like at math. It has its accounting rules, and simple math : )Don’t panic! Study syllabus (of course its pretty huge..), practice past exam questions. Look at past exam answers, and you will understand methods!
Good luck!September 20, 2013 at 12:13 pm #140908Thank you very much for this!!! Glad to see someone had the same feelings yet passed the exam! That makes sense and sounds motivating 🙂 Will do, will try to practice as much as I can.
Thanks again 🙂
