Does the Employee capital contribution reduces the Final Benefit Chargeable or it reduces the Car price List?
Further, what is the treatment if the Employee contribution exceeds the Car Price List?
if employee contributes to the cost of car, then deduct that from the list price.
if the employee contributes every month for owning that car, then you deduct that after working out (list price x %)
maximum contribution is 5000 i think so i doubt it will exceed the car price
although note that this does not include fuel provided for the car by the company, if they company does provide fuel and the employee makes part payment this has no effect on the tax charge for using the car, only payment in FULL for the fuel will prevent a BIK from occuring
