Should I opt for ACCA

I am a finance professional from India have over 10 + years of experience in Costing, Pricing and financial planning. I am a qualified Cost Accountant from India. I am right now trying to figure out whether doing an International Degree like ACCA will help my career next steps or not. I am convinced that from a knowledge stand point I would gain since I have heard ACCA to be more practical and industry oriented than any other professional degrees. But I am not sure about any career gains after I complete it considering the cost and time required for the same. I would be glad if some one could let me know if he/she has found good career breaks after completing ACCA.
