Hi,
Over the last few days, I was watching these F5 lectures on uncertaininty and risk and they play fine for a while and suddenly just stop playing, no matter how many times you intend to buffer the video. I have experienced this for many days in many different browsers. After many attempts, I get this message:
server not found: rtmpt://r.acca.opentuitioncom.netdna-cdn.com:80/play
Could you tell me what to do to overcome this problem. I really need to view videos.
Thanks.

June 6, 2013 at 10:42 am #129669I really appreciate these lectures… I too have F4 on Monday ( my birthday!!)…and have relied solely on these lectures – love the lecturer’s style… I can remember all the funny things he says….I sit at work doing long reconciliations with my headphones in listening to them. I hope they are available again before the exam but wanted to thank you all for providing them anyway.
June 6, 2013 at 10:46 am #129671hi , i am still receiving the same error message 🙁

June 6, 2013 at 11:18 am #129685Hi,
I am having the same problems viewing the F9 lectures and my exam is tomorrow. Please help as I need to recap Business Valuation.
Assistance greatly appreciated.
June 6, 2013 at 11:20 am #129686Why don’t you open your revision kit and do 1 or 2 past exam questions,
please do not waste your time trying every 5 minuteswe are as frustrated as you are.. but you can use your time wisely 🙂

Maybe this is one reason why students should be able to save the lectures in the future… to avoid this last minute stress and frustration…

How about not leaving watching lectures to the last minute? 🙂
you had 4 months…you should be practising past exam questions..

How about if we are struggling with a particular chapter and the only way to revise is the lecture on Opentutition?
Please consider the students stress and frustration just before exams… I am not criticizing.June 6, 2013 at 12:20 pm #129734@lilipati
I do understand your frustration, and I know you are not critising,
but downloading videos = shut down of opentuition
how do you think this site could support itself? advertising is not exactly profitable even with the number of registered students that we have.. Not many use/visit the site every day.. leaving things to the last minute.. 🙂we are not making a fortune here and it is not easy and cheap to provide a free service
how many students did you help out on the forums? Most people post when they have problems, but very few students help their juniour colleagues on the forums.
so, allowing downloading would complete make the website dead, as students would not bother to visit..

You are absolutely right. No one should complain. “beggars can’t be choosers”. We hardly give open tuition anything in return and when the website’s down then everyone is just crunching on open tuition and cursing it. Totally unethical. Certainly, there is no aspect of ACCA’s “professional behaviour” here!
