Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is OK to use a highlighter in our answer books? I am sitting F7 on Wednesday!
Thanks
June 1, 2013 at 11:59 pm #128182The guideline is quite specific in requiring black ink only in your answer book, so you’re probably best sticking to that as highlighting is unnecessary. Besides, you’re going to slow yourself down if you’re stopping to highlight bits and pieces of your answers.
June 2, 2013 at 11:58 am #128245Ok thanks,
I’m going to be taking F7 next week and like to make notes (highlighted) to remind myself to include events in final SOFP within consolidation questions.
Maybe i could just use my question paper to make notes on & highlight rather than run the risk of my paper being illegible.June 2, 2013 at 3:06 pm #128271Its highly unlikely that your paper would not be marked. The rule of black ink is to make the markers’ job easier. The job of marking is no easy task and answer papers with multicoloured graphics will just make the job even more difficult.
You can write in whatever colour you want in your question paper – you can even write in blood, sweat or tears. But you should limit the raw material in your answer booklet to boring old black ink
