HELP. i recently got a new calculator is i lost my old one, The version is a CASIO, fx83GT PLUS. i have entered these figures. (425-210*1000) it is returning a result of -209575. I have realized it is following BODMUS rules. Anyone here knows how i can change this just so he calculate the figures in order of how i feed them. I feel with the exam days fast approaching i wont have time to get to understand this.
Or anyone know a calculator that is so not complicated.
Kindest Regards
I don’t know how to change the setting to standard calculator for you, but if you press the = button after each operation, that will do the same thing.
So in your example if you do 425-210 (then press =) you’ll get 215, then do *1000 and press the = button, you’ll get 215000, which is the same result as you’d get on a standard calculator.
