Hi, I am a UK citizen, currently living, working and self-studying in the Cayman Islands. I’m about to buy a study guide for the F4 paper and am wondering whether to go for English or Global. I may have more incidental knowledge of UK laws having lived there for 30 years, but I am not sure if I will actually ever go back to living and working there. Global may be more relevant depending on where I end up living.
Which would you recommend, and in the grand scheme of things does it really matter all that much?Thanks
it is good to go for UK variant. global gives a general concept it may not be helpful. i am from India still i went for UK variant. it helped me a lot.
Cayman, being a “British” Island will surely still be heavily influenced by English Law. I imagine the laws applicable in West End, Bodden Town and Hell are pretty much the same as those followed in England.

Mike, I doubt I will still be in Cayman by the time I am qualified hence why I wasn’t sure whether I would be best doing the global version. I think I will go for English law due to existing knowledge and not knowing specifically where in the world I want to go next.
Incidentally, I believe Hell these days would be more covered by street/gang justice 🙂
