Dear Mike,
I’m confused with notice periods.General meeting (GM) requires 21 days notice, and ordinary resolution requires 14 days notice.
Does this mean that we can call for GM and send 21 days notice. After this, can we send additional agenda concerning ordinary resolution during next week (so we fit in 14 days notice?)How do these periods (21 and 14 days) match?
May 7, 2013 at 10:52 am #124774Yes, I suppose in theory you could. But it would be strange! The directors should be aware of the matters which they wish to have approval for so the 14 day requirement will be automatically satisfied if the matter is included within the agenda sent out with 21 days notice.
In the context of an “other” general meeting which requires only 14 days notice – again it’s not an issue.
May 7, 2013 at 10:57 am #124776So in mostly cases notice for ordinary resolution (for AGM) will be in 21 days?
May 7, 2013 at 4:31 pm #124803Yes, but it’s not the required notice for the ordinary resolution. In fact, other than ordinary resolutions requiring special notice, the notice period for an ordinary resolution works out as the notice period fort he meeting at which that resolution is to be proposed.
Is that clear?

Thank you!May 10, 2013 at 10:43 am #125048So, it’s Katerina now is it? What happened to Sangria?

I tried to change profile and settings. And suddenly name changed. Also as status (role).
