    Hi
I didn’t pass the exam last time (about 2 years ago) then I had to have a break due to preganacy etc.
I would like to retake it in June but, to be honest, I am not sure how to prepare for the exam. In the past I spent too much time on BPP Study Text in which, in fact, I coudn’t find all of the answers to the questions I had.. Could you please explain how will I benefit from your course notes or even how shall I study and whether the purchase of a new study book/exam kit is necessary? I am going to get the Kaplan’s books rather than BPP( if necessary).
    Thank you

    Musemma is right 🙂

The best way of preparing for the exams is to practise questions.

Get hold of a Revision/Exam kit and work through all the questions yourself before checking the answers!
Especially work on the written parts of the questions – they will be about 50% of the marks. Too many people spend all their time on the calculations and do little or nothing for the written parts. That means that they are only being marked out of 50%!!

I am assuming that you have already worked through a Study Text. Listen to all the lectures on here and use our Course Notes.
The main thing is to make sure you really understand everything and that you are not just learning rules – learning rules will not help when you come to the written parts.
