    Hi everybody,

could you please help me, is it dangerous:) to use the both SWOT and PEST in the RAP?
another issue, I’m writing about the company which is global but on the other hand it’s unique and I use as a comparator a company from its peer group with not exactly the same business, so I’ll calculate the ratios of the two companies, compare them and then analyze my company with SWOT and PEST to explain the difference, but I’m confused that the companies are deemed initially to have different SWOT and PEST. What do you think?

P.S. It will be attempt number 3, I simply want to do my best

    Hi Nati

Your final point at the bottom – do you mean this is your third attempt at being successful at the RAP ?

If so – what was the feedback from the markers in your first submissions ? Did they advise that you needed to use additional models in your analysis ?

Don’t select difficult companies. Don’t include pest and swot analysis you will be short of words.

    @ Nati
it is not dangerous to use both SWOT and PEST infact, it may be a good idea.
You said your comperator is in a “peer group with not exactly the same business” with your focus company…do you mean both companies operate in different markets/industries or countries? if this is the case,, then your RAP have a fundamental error and your comparative analysis could be faulted by OBU on this grounds.

The issue is not with the business models, try n rectiify the companies you are researching on before moving on wth the project
