Part 1 of the RAP requires us to give an explanation of your overall research approach. It sounds easy but can anyone give me a detailed explanation of what it means or provide some sort of examples so that i can understand? Thank you so much for helping, i really need all the help i can get!

March 1, 2013 at 4:56 pm #118976Its more abt the strategy and methodology you will use to write your research, so that the reader can follow what you are talking abt.
March 4, 2013 at 4:34 am #119099How you use sources, would it be primary or secondary, how data will be analyzed, by which models, financial ratios, SWOT, PESTEL, PEST etc.
March 4, 2013 at 5:44 pm #119180Do we have to define and explain our models eg what is SWOT etc?
March 4, 2013 at 7:11 pm #119206yes but see the info pack, you have to give models and their limitations, but see at which place refer to info pack.

Your overall research approach and yoour research questions are the most iimportant aspect
of your RAP foundation….you mess them up, you mess up the whole RAP.First, you should define your resesrch objective and research questions. Your overall research approach is simply how
you wish to meet your research objective and answer your research questions.For instance;
Research questiion: How was ABC performance between 2010 and 2012?Extract from research approoach: “The researcher will evalluate the performance of ABC between 2010 and 2012
using financiial ratios in the performance aspects of profitability, liquidity etc” - AuthorPosts
