I have some questions:
1/ Rules of another university require Thesis must content a page of Abstract and Acknowledgement. However, I do not see this requirement in bscpack2012_13.pdf of ACCA – Oxford Brookes. Do i need to have Abstract and Acknowledgement in my thesis?
2/ About the guide book of BPP for BSC(Hons) Oxford Brookes.
Is there anyone read it before?
Is it helpful ?
Does it tell us how to structure a thesis?
Does it have another thesis as samples ?3/ About the presentation of the thesis. Is that correct?
TITLE (inculde name of school, kind of degree, topic chosen, name of student, ACCA reg num., date, word count)
CONTENT (headings and pages)

Could you guys please tell me is that correct ? Many thanks.
Answer 1.The guide says it is recommended format and not mandatory format so you may include Abstract (mind you there is word limit)
Answer 2. The BPP guide not useful (my personal opinion) but it is good to use its name in reference list/biblo to impress marker.
Answer 3. Yes this is what recommended format you may also get subheadings from Bsc info pack 2013.
If you can get some sample projects it would be very much helpful. previously they were available on this website but now removed.

Hi there. You may write Abstract and Acknowledgement but remember the word count. It is mentioned in Bsc Info pack that it is recommended format and not mandatory, however they don’t like too much deviation from there format.

The guide you are referring is not much helpful to me, there are no samples or hints tips how to write thesis, rather latest Bsc info pack 2013 and resubmission guide on acca website contains all info, further read marker comments for failing which some friends have provided on this forum. Previously some one had uploaded samples on this website but they are removed.3/ About the presentation of the thesis. Is that correct?

Yes that is correct format, plus you also have to submit SLS (Skills and Learning Statement of 2000 words)
Hi, I have some queries about what files do we need to submit.
Do we need to submit as follows?:
– Research Report (incl. References and Appendices)
– Skills and Learning Statement (does not include a copy of the Power Point Slides)
– Presentation Slides
