    HI All

Congrats on those who passed Dec 2012 exams. And for those that didn’t chin up and remain positive.

I’d like some assistance please on which is the best combination of papers to write. I’d like to do 2 papers per sitting.

For optional papers I have decided to go for P5 and P7 (is this a good combination as I have recently passed P3 and there is an overlap to P5?) Then I only have P2

What should I combine with P2 or should I write P2 in Dec 2013 and P5 and P7 in June 2013? Is this manageable?

Thanks guys for all your help:)

Good day and congrats on december results.
I’m thinking almost the same – i passed all F-papers and now i’m planning on 2013 year to pass all P-s. 3 in summer and 2 in winter.
I guess, you should look back on f5 and f7 and remember which one was harder for you, coz p2 is the P-paper for F7, while P5 is P-paper for F5.
If F5 was easy for you, you should take p5&p7 both. Still, you shoul not that P7 is on monday and P5 is on wednesday, so you’ll have just one day break between exams. For some students this can be a problem. P2 is week after P7, so you’ll have plenty of time to prepare for it, including weekend!

I would suggest you take P5 and P7 now, but concentrate on P5. If you fail P7, you’ll try it again with P2 and it’ll take less efforts to prepare for it since you’ve tried it in June.

I don’t think you can sit for P5 and P7 without registering for P2, since you have to do all exams in a level before or at the same time as your attempt of higher level papers.

To avoid these problems i’m registering for p1, p2, p3, 04 but i’ll be sitting only p1, p3, p4. They are scheduled comfortably, so i’m paying p2 fee as the payment for comfortable schedule…

P2 and P7 are quite handy together……P2 is the standards and P7 is the auditing of those standards.

Hi, I passed P1 and P3 in June 2012. I decided to do P2 on its own in Dec 2012 as its a massive syllabus and very tough. Thankfully I got 52%. I don’t think I would have got this if I was sitting another paper with it.
I am now doing P6 and P7 in June 2013.
Everyone’s different with their own strengths and weaknesses but my advice would be to do P2 on its own. There’s more than enough work in that
    Good luck
