Morning. I am going to do F9 in the June 13 exams and have a 2012 study guide. Will this be suitable to use for studying? thank you
February 8, 2013 at 4:57 pm #116376I would think so because syllabus have minor changes only. I’m using 2012 materials too.
February 11, 2013 at 2:29 pm #117346Hi marlise123,
I tried to order 2013 version from my local BPP provider but they said the books will be available at the end of February which is quite late for me. However they said 2012 is really fine. As I_ACCA said above changes are minor and won’t have influence on your final result and preparation – so i go with 2012!

Check syllabuses for any changes. Usually on the last page:https://www.accaglobal.com/en/student/qualification-resources/acca-qualification/acca-exams/f4-exams/exams-f4.html
https://www.accaglobal.com/en/student/qualification-resources/acca-qualification/acca-exams/f7-exams/exams-f7.htmlIt seems that F7 hasn’t changed much. F4 doesn’t mention anything about changes so I don’t know.
February 12, 2013 at 6:35 am #117446Thank you all for the responce. Much appreciated. Hopefully this will be a good year for studies.

wil p7(int) and p5 2012 study text work for 2013 exams
February 24, 2013 at 1:26 pm #118675Just had a look at the 2013 F9 syllabus changes and it says the following has been deleted under D3:
ii) the calculation of future values and the
application of the annuity formula
iii) the calculation of present values, including
the present value of an annuity and
perpetuity, and the use of discount and
annuity tablesDoes this mean we get no PV/Annuity tables in the exam?
