Below is the mail i got from ACCA regarding finalist and sort of curious if this is anything positive or usual thing following each exam sittings.Kindly contribute.
Dear Student (Names in full),
At ACCA we believe exam achievement deserves recognition which is why we produce a list of students who have passed their final ACCA Qualification exams in our Student Accountant magazine, the affiliate ezine ACCA Advance and on our website.We’ll notify you shortly of your exam results. If you have been successful in passing your final exams, your name will be included in our affiliate list. If you do not wish your name to appear, please contact ACCA Connect by Monday 4 February either by email to students@accaglobal.com or telephone +44 (0)141 582 2000 and we will ensure your name is not published as part of our affiliate list.
We know you are eager to receive your results and find out if you have become an ACCA affiliate. While you are waiting, why not take the time to update your My Experience record with your employment details, months in a relevant role and performance objectives achieved. And complete the Professional Ethics module, if you have not already done so?
We will track your PER progress and if you are successful in passing your exams and have fulfilled the membership requirements, we’ll email you with an invitation to become an ACCA member.

I got it too. Let assume all finalist get it and not guess that they are hinting that we are done
I’m a finialist and got it too. Is there any finialists out there that didnt get it? Guys have your myacca pages changed aswell?
Some one said he did not get it in June when he had failed but got it this time.
I know of a June finalist that did not get that message when he pass the final paper in June. It seems to be a new correspondent sent directly to students starting this sitting. That is y I want to find out if persons that did not sit their final exam got this message also

I got this message too, but i don’t see the so called “white page”, i didn’t see my result last sat.! This week is so slow, seems like a month! Come on, all of us here need a – “50”! All the best good people! Wish all of us who worked for it can pass!

I got it too but I still have one option paper to attempt
Its just a general mail sent to all acca finalist students…does not mean you passed….that’s on Friday 🙂

Yes. This is a generalised message sent to all students of ACCA whether they are sitting for their final papers or not. I still have 4 papers to attempt and I got it. It tells you what to do to prepare to become an ACCA member while you wait for your results.
ooooh sh.it i wish i never came here! i got it and i thought it was sent only to affiliates…. damn you guys for dampening my spirit again

guys this is a general email .. I took p2 and P3 .. and still i got this email 🙂 LOL this emails is for everyone who attempted something in the professional level the P1 guys got it too.. 🙂

Hi everyone
getting an email from ACCA is not a new feature , I know a friend of mine who received the same kind of mail when she
was a finalist in 2010 june. I am 100% sure about this.
I also confirm that few friends of OT who were finalist in June 2012 did not receive this kind of mail though they have become affiliate’sthanx

I’m not a finialist……I got the email too
It is sent everytime exam results come out to everybody
My friend was a finalist last year and did not get this email. This seems to be the first time it is being sent directly to students. So I am wondering if all students who sat exams in December got it.
Got the email about a week ago. Maybe it might mean something if we have any finalists that didnt get this email. Otherwise I think it’s just a generic email. Either way we find out in a couple of days.

i got this Email too and i am a finalist! Fingers crossed we all made it….
I have a colleague who is also a finalist but he did not get it.. I wouldn’t want to be too excited just in event it is a standard email.
Anyway Friday is not far… fingers crossed!
I got it too. but when i requested new pass code from ACCA, they send it to me from members@accaglobal.com instead of students@accaglobal.com. i m a finalist to & completed 36 months & objectives.. i am confused tooo….
