– cash flow statement. the following figures are extracts from workings :
dividends received—————$ 30,000
repayments of borrowing——-$ 45,000
increase in bank overdraft ——-$ 22,000
proceeds of sale of non-current assets—-$49,000
purchase of non-current assets——-$19,000
income tax paid during the period——$ 8,000
issue of new share capital——–$ 12,000
What is the total cash flow for ‘net cash used in financing activities prepared in accordance with IAS 7 cash flow statement?
(i) 27,000 inflow
(ii) 55,000 outflow
(iii)33,000 outflow
(iv) 3,000 outflow
You need only financing acitivities.
– $45,000 – repayments of borrowing
– $22,000 – increase in bank overdraft
+ $12,000 – issue of new share capital
Total: $55,000 outflow (ii)
