After reading the correct answers for Dec 2012, I am almost sure I will need to sit P2 INT again in June 2013:( For the preparation for Dec 2012 exam I bought BPP study text for June-Dec 2012. Please advise whether the Dec 2012 study text is good for June 2013. On ACCA website I knew that the syllabus remained unchanged, but what about sections “Recent developments”, changes to IFRSs/IASs, etc.? Thank you very much for your help!
January 15, 2013 at 6:14 pm #113686Now that I’ve seen the answers as well… I have a feeling that I may be joining you in that resit! 🙂
I’m thinking of using my 2012 study text again as well along with the IAS plus website for recent developments: https://www.iasplus.com/en
January 16, 2013 at 10:55 am #113745Thank you, Fidget. Any other thoughts about the extent to what material is different in Dec 2012 book in comparison to what is needed for June 2013 exam?

nurrediannaredzuan@yahoo.comJanuary 16, 2013 at 8:32 pm #113766redmarlen, this article from ACCA website shows what changes have been afoot over the last year or so with those due for being implemented as of Jan 2013:
https://www.accaglobal.com/en/member/cpd/reporting/cpd-articles/preparing-change.html
I’ve had a look through my 2012 study text (it’s the Kaplan complete text I’ve got) to check, and all the recent changes/developments in the article are covered in it, so I’m thinking that the 2013 text isn’t going to contain anything that isn’t covered in the 2012 text. I think if anything, the only difference might be in current developments – relevant to Q4 of P2, but as I say, if I decide to use my 2012 text, I’ll use the IASplus website to swot up on those.
