dear tutor I fail in P4 exam dec2014, exam was easy for section B.
I prepared very well. but during exam i couldn’t finish or attempt the full question>
what is your recommendation for me which question to start first as the question one compulsory took long time to completed. and i couldn’t finish other section b question
and the 15 reading and planning where should be spend in the first question ( section A )

February 27, 2015 at 12:51 pm #230641It would be wrong for me to give any sort of rule – everyone is different, and whichever you start with, the most important thing is to allocate your time between questions (it is better to have all questions part finished rather than some questions not attempted).
However, the examiner himself did say at a meeting I attended last week that in December Question 1 was difficult and that students would have been better attempting Section B first because there were some easier marks to be had in Section B.
With regard to the 15 minutes, I think it is best spent first reading the requirements (not the body) of each questions – deciding what is required and therefore which order to attempt them in, and underlining key requirements. Then you can spend time reading the body of whichever question you decide to attempt first.
