@favour – do you mean the company links in your report? The message 404 not found usually means the owner of the document / webpage has moved it. You will need go back to a search engine feed in the key words to find where it now is and use the new link. (If you are referring to the links for actual submissionon on the OBU site then you will need to search their site and contact them if you can’t find them)November 11, 2015 at 6:34 am
Hello! After uploading the RAP, I found out that numbering of two sub headings was repeated mistakenly (But wordings are correct) and thus was the case in the contents page of RAP as well. Will it be a problem? Will I be penalised for this?November 11, 2015 at 2:38 pm

Help Help, URGENT MATTER
There is one missing document – supporting spreadsheets did not listed in the Appendices (OBU Submission).
Kindly help on this matter urgently.
Please advise me as soon as possible for the uploading failure.

@trephena – What I might have done was probably copying the previous sub heading and pasting it (in order to use same formatting). Obviously not copying from someone else work. What if the marker thinks that I have cut and pasted these from someone else’s work? Will it be a problem (to be penalised) just a sub heading being copied and he thinks that I have done so, even if I have/ haven’t done that?

@Samih – chill then! A few typing mistakes here and there are not going to really affect things. Turnitin identifies similarities in the text so no one is going to penalise you unless there is a definite link to other people’s work. Chill baby, chill ! I am not sure I understand your problem
If you are saying you don’t have a spreadsheet remember you need some proof of ability to use Excel (raw data and the charts and graphs from them or use of formulas to show you can use functions to pass the IT skills element
If you are saying there is no specific tab for a spreadsheet then load it as an appendix.

The above confirmation was sent from OBU upon submission.The I come to realize that Appendix 6 was uploading failure. I immediately notify to OBU on this matter.
From the Appendix 1.6, I have uploaded the “Working Spreadsheets” which including ratio formula, market observations, financial ratios and others workings. Unfortunately, due the internet line down, the last appendix was not successfully uploaded and directly submit to OBU.
I was not aware of such missing appendix during the submission.

@calvin Poon – Thanks for the greater clarity.
Do not panic 🙂 You have contacted them – did you attach the missing spreadsheet file to your email? I am not sure how they resolve this but don’t worry it is resolvable – they will either upload the file for you or will fix it so you can do it yourself (probably the former I suspect).
Issues like this only become a major problem after the submission period has closed as it has been known apparently for students to try to ‘buy time’ while they complete their work and invent last minute systems errors. This is clearly not the case here so admin staff will sort it out for you I am sure 😀November 12, 2015 at 3:01 pm
I am about to submit for session 31, I was wondering what my file name or label should be. currently my files name as such :
date, my name, company’s name, project file.docx
date, my name, company’s name, SLS.docx,
date, my name, company’s name slides.pptx.
Is this acceptable?

I have just submitted my project today. I was that flustered with it all I just cant remember if I submitted everything. Can someone tell me, is there an individual box for the Power Point presentation or would I have had to upload it in the appendices box.

@trephena I made a very terrible mistake during submission.
I was unable to select my mentor from the approved OBU list because I didn’t know how to delete the mentor I used for my previous submission.
I clicked the submit button hoping that it will prompt me to choose an approved mentor by bringing up the approved list. But that didn’t happen.
The project submitted (with a mentor that is not approved) and I received an email from OBU that my project has been successfully submitted and that I should proceed to payment.
I am very worried. I have sent obu an email telling them what happened and also provided them with my mentor’s details (the learning luminarium).
I don’t know if they will help me update it by deleting the wrong mentor I submitted.November 12, 2015 at 10:45 pm
@stacey1519 – you should be able to check against your submission receipt. I can’t remember if there is a special box for the Presentation – I thought there was. If you really feel you didn’t load it send an email to the admin office, attach the file and explain that you were in such a tizz you are not sure if it loaded correctly or not! Generally the administrators are pretty good and used to this sort of thing, so sort it out now and give yourself the peace of mind! 🙂November 12, 2015 at 10:50 pm
@unyimeedem – I didn’t think the system permitted a successful upload unless an approved mentor was used. Just email and explain what happened giving them the full name and email of the approved mentor and I am sure it will be fine 🙂November 13, 2015 at 1:08 am
@trephena The OBU staff had resolved the issue for me and reply the following statement:-
“I confirm receipt of your document. Your spreadsheet has now been added to your submission as requested.”

Does anyone know how to correct the word spacing in a word document.When I ‘justify’ a paragraph , the words go a bit funny , there are far apart when I reduce the space its as if its one word .I tried googling but can’t fix the issue.
Any solutions please?
