Last thing i want to know regarding data and information
In sample techniques we ask questions from the selected people in the sample. The answers that we get are datas, right cause simply an answer from a person doesn’t represent the whole population and its of no use to the manager. But after collecting
datas from the whole sample, the datas cab be analysed to get information about the whole population . So the report is the information then.Am i right here?
But in case say a person ask another person to give him direction to some place where he needs to go. Will it be called data or information.
You are right with regard to the analysis of the date from a sample.
Asking for directions is not exactly something that is relevant for Paper F2 🙂
I suppose it would be more information because it would enable you to decide how to get somewhere.
