Hi all,
I am planning to sit two papers in 12/14 .I am confused whether to take p2 or p 3 with p1
Your advise will be appreciated
Thank you
Hello,
P1 & P3 are “wordy” papers and require a lot of revision. There are hardly any calculations, if any at all they will be in P3 – and even then they will be relatively simple it is the interpretation and analysis that they are looking for.
P2 is considered by many as a monster, an advanced version of F7, and very “number-crunchy”.
However I enjoyed P2 and didn’t find it as scary as some made out – BUT – I do work in accounts preparation and had lots of experience of several of the areas.
P2 does require a lot of study and practice whereby P1 & P3 are really “Read and Learn” papers.
If its any help – I sat P1 & P2 together in June 13, I passed P2 and just failed P1 (44%), but in Dec 13 I sat P1 and P3 and passed both respectfully.
Hope this helps.
Best of Luck
