Hi Sir,
Again, thank you for you exceptional support throughout all aspects of aiding students towards success. however i have a small issue, in particular i have not come across any mention of Part exchange allowance within the depreciation lectures and the transfer from Cr disposals to Dr of Revaluation reserves which i later on found mentioned in the Kaplan study text. could you shed some light as to why this is exclusive to the study texts and is not contained in the OT syllabus (possibly not going to appear in the exam).
Many thanks,

We do not claim that our lecture notes replace a Study Text – they are just notes to go with the lectures (which is why they are not so big as Study Texts). What we do claim is that our notes and lectures cover enough to be able to pass the exam well, and this they achieve.
Revaluations are covered in the lectures. Part exchange is not specifically mentioned, but it does not warrant an extra lecture since it is exactly the same as if we were to sell and asset and use the proceeds to help buy a new asset. The exact double entries are not relevant because the exam does not test the double entries but tests the understanding.
