I noticed that the lecture videos do not include preparation of single entity financial statements, interpretation of financial statements and also, not all the examples in the lecture notes are explained via the lecture video like the example 5 of consolidated income statement.
Was this a deliberate omission sir, and we have to work those out ourselves?
The main omission is that there is no lecture on the preparation of single entity financial statements
However … substantially ALL the adjustments necessary in these questions are included within mini exercises
In addition I have recorded questions 1, 2 and 3 from a number of exams and you can find these in the section Revision Lectures towards the foot of the F7 home page
Those worked examples should be sufficient to show you the approach necessary to crack these questions and some solid working through the mini exercises in the course notes will set you up well for this type of question in the exam
