Sir,
Comprehensive example on consolidated SFP, we deducted the MV of Ausra from Danute for calculating the share premium on the share for share exchange.
But in BPP kit 2016/2107, q 123 why did they simply use the market value only? Also, in the deferred payment, the shares were multiplied by 0.275 when the question indicated 27.5 cents
I have no idea what you are talking about!
“we deducted the MV of Ausra from Danute for calculating the share premium on the share for share exchange”
We calculated the number of shares that Danute had to issue and we know that those shares had a market value of $3.30
We deducted the nominal value of those shares (and added that $20,000 to the share capital line) and that left us with 20,000 shares issued at a premium of $3.30 ($4.30 – $1.00)
What on Earth are you talking about “… deducted the MV of Ausra from Danute …”?
Is $0.275 not the same as 27.5 cents?
OK?
