Hi tutor,
Sorry you probably might have answered plenty of such questions before, i’ve registered for F8 in the December sitting. Just did some research online and read that F7 is an important prerequisite paper for one to take before taking F8.
Would you reckon someone with no background in financial reporting that he’ll be able to take F8 and score well in it? Or would that be a really stupid decision to make? (I was planning to take F7 and P2 together).
I’m aiming to get at least an 80% for each of the F papers so I don’t want to screw myself up.
Hope you could help me on this, thanks 🙂
In my opinion you do not need to study F7 before F8. There is relatively little financial reporting knowledge needed.
That’s a relief,, Ive decided to start on F7 first regardless, as it seems much more interesting than F8 does. Thanks a lot for the help 🙂
